Ironing? Who has the time for that!

March 3, 2021 by Lavita Leave a Comment

I am a mommy of two kids. And both below the age of five! One thing that always piles up is my laundry. And after I get through this task, the next daunting task that follows is ironing.  Many times I just skip wearing some clothes because I didn’t get the time to iron them.

So, here I have something for all you busy people who hardly have the time to iron. Or would rather complete some other work than sit down and iron a pile of clothes. Wish I knew about it earlier!

Just recently I found a product called Iron in a Bottle.

And it is exactly that! Iron in a bottle. I honestly was not aware that such a product existed all these years until our friends at Tom and Sherri sent us this bottle of magic. To be honest I was a little skeptical about whether the product will work or not. Advertised as easy to use and an alternate for traditional ironing, it looked too good to be true. So I tried it out and I was shocked. It works! Just ensure to spray it properly and follow all the instructions given in the bottle.

I also loved the fact that it is indeed very easy to use and has a refreshing scent. It does smell of fresh linen as mentioned in the bottle.

How to use

All that you need to do is spray in a circular motion until all the wrinkles are damp. Then smooth the fabric in a downward motion with your hand. And voila! The creases are gone.

Ingredients

It is a plant-based wrinkle releaser with no harsh chemicals. The most active ingredient is a plant-based surfactant. It is comparable to a hair conditioner that relaxes the fibers of the clothes as a conditioner would do to your hair. This is how the spray helps the wrinkles to release.

Fabrics

Also, as recommended on their site you can test a hidden portion of fabric before spraying any entire garment. If there are any undesired effects, do not proceed with using Tom & Sheri’s Iron in a Bottle on that particular garment.

Iron in a bottle works best for fabrics such as oxfords, wool, polyester blends, soft cotton, t-shirts, linen, flannel, heavy cotton, cotton blends, chinos, poplin and denim.

However, use caution when using on silk, rayon, satin, or other fabrics that have a tendency to water-spot.

However, be mindful that you cannot use this product at the last moment before going out as the clothes will require some time to dry. And once dry, your clothes are ready to wear. They also have a travel-size bottle that you can carry with you wherever you go.

How easy is that! All you have to do is spray 🙂

Now you don’t have to worry about not wearing your favorite dress just because you didn’t have the time to iron. Iron in a bottle is super easy to use and, bonus, is not at all time-consuming. So go ahead and get your hands on this magic bottle and see the difference it makes to your life.
